Silent Library

This short film is set in a silent library and follows a girl rushing to meet a tight deadline. Just as she’s fully focused, someone sits behind her and starts coughing loudly multiple times, breaking the silence and disrupting her concentration. Despite the constant interruptions, the film shows how she stays determined, regains her focus, and eventually finishes her work.

Too good to be true?

This short film, created for the #AntiScamChallenge, follows a boy who finds a deal on Carousell that seems too good to be true. Excited, he pays the seller upfront without meeting in person. When the meetup day arrives, the seller never shows up, revealing that the boy has been scammed. The film highlights how easily young people can fall for online scams and reminds viewers to stay alert and always verify before paying.

Writer's block

For our short film brief on “The Room,” we chose to set the story in a bedroom the private, chaotic space of a struggling writer. The film follows a writer who abruptly wakes up to the news that his deadline has been pushed forward. Overwhelmed by stress and panic, he finds himself trapped in his own room and in his own mind.

MENACE

This documentary explores the everyday life of the South Food Court in Republic Polytechnic, focusing on the constant presence of birds flying around the area. Through interviews with three students, the film presents a range of perspectives. Together, their voices highlight how a simple shared space can create very different experiences for different people.

This anti-drug documentary follows the story of Charmaine, a young woman whose life is deeply affected by her use of K-pods, a dangerous and easily accessed substance. The film traces how Charmaine was first introduced to the drug, how her usage escalated, and the circumstances that led to a serious medical emergency.
